FTEI receive funding, through the Forest Service, from the Irish Government under the National Development Plan 2007-2013.

FTEI funded programmes include approved courses  in forestry skills .

How can a course be included in a funded programme?		 Answer:
FTEI research the forest skills required. The courses are developed into a yearly programme which is submitted for funding.

Who delivers the courses listed in the funded programmes?
Answer:
Qualified Training Providers who have successfully completed the FTEI Tendering Process will deliver courses throughout Ireland

I am a Training Provider. How can I tender for the courses listed in the funded programmes?		 Answer:
All courses listed in the FTEI programmes are offered for tender. FTEI advertise the courses on this website, under the 'Tender' section.

When are courses offered for tender?		 Answer:
FTEI offer courses for tender at different intervals throughout the year.
FTEI place an advert in "The Farmer's Journal" and in the "Farming Independent".  The courses on offer for tender are listed in a document on this website, under the 'Tender' section.
